Benefit and new contract for Strauss

Middlesex have awarded Andrew Strauss a benefit in 2009. Strauss made his county debut in 1997, first class debut in 1998 and was capped by the club in 2001. He has also signed a two-year extension to his contract which will keep him at Lord's until the end of 2010.
