Canada chase World Cup spot

Canada have named a 14-man squad for next week's Americas Under-19 regional tournament. They and Bermuda are expected to battle for the World Cup spot at stake

Canada have named a 14-man squad for next week's Americas Under-19 regional tournament. They and Bermuda are expected to battle for the World Cup spot at stake.
Thirteen of the players, including the captain Abishek Krishnamoorthy, are from Ontario, as is vice-captain Khrishna (Chris) Monohar. Jaskeerat Khalon from Alberta is the other member of the squad.
Courtney Gonsalves has been coaching the players, assisted by Abdul Majeed and Pubudu Dassanayake. Most have trained in the Greater Toronto Area over the last two weeks, with Maple Leaf CC providing facilities.
Admission is free for all matches.
