Lod meet Ashdod in India Trophy final

Over recent weeks, a T20 tournament sponsored by the Indian Embassy, the India Trophy, has been played among six teams representing the Indian community in Israel. The tournament is part of the embassies regular outreach activities to stay in touch with the Indian community in Israel, as well harness the fever created by the Cricket World Cup currently being played in the sub-continent. The final day of the tournament will be held this coming Saturday in Be'er Sheva, with Lod Rangers meeting the Indian Embassy X1 in the 3rd place play-off, with Lod playing Ashdod in the final. The Indian Ambassador, Mr. Navtej Sarna, together with other embassy officials, will be on hand to watch the games and present the awards.
